#leavenotrace is a principle which is as simple as it sounds that all our visitors must agree to. You will be expected to leave the location exactly as you find it, take all of your litter home with you and agree to ‘The Poo Pledge’.

POO PLEDGE
All those that stay at Auchlyne & Suie Estate must agree to ‘The Poo Pledge’. You must have a self-contained toilet or bring a shovel and ensure that there is no evidence of your business for future campers.
No. 2s – When we say “bring a shovel”, we really mean go for a decent stroll away from your camp spot, dig a proper hole, do your business in it and fill it back in. Don’t go behind that tree, car, wall or grassy bit that “no one” will see. This is a working farm and human poo poses a risk to livestock.
Toilet tissues – Nobody likes to see loo paper blowing across the hillsides so pop the toilet paper in a bag and take it home.

The lighting of fires will depend on location of camping and current wildfire risk. This can be discussed when we meet.
