Innishewan, which is Gaelic for 'Ewan's Meadow', is located on a traditional working farm and set against the backdrop of “the great mountain” Ben More with far reaching views across Glen Dochart, Innishewan creates the perfect base for those who wish to enjoy all the wonders of the Highlands and Islands, but remains easily accessible; Edinburgh (1hr 35mins), Glasgow (1hr 15mins), Oban (1hr), Perth (1hr) and Stirling (45mins) are all within comfortable driving distance.  The nearest station is at Crianlarich (7 miles away) which has a daily service to Glasgow Queen Street.

Killin, with its famous Falls of Dochart, is 7 miles away and has a supermarket, post office, bank and other shops. Fuel can be found at Lix Toll Garage (5 miles East, towards Killin).

There are 2 hotels and a restaurant within 5 minutes drive. Both Suie Lodge and Luib Hotel are 2 minutes away down the glen towards Killin. The Old Mill Cafe is another 2 miles further on.
